1. Offline-First & Zero Data Collection
My Gold Melting operates on an offline-first architecture. We do not collect, harvest, track, sell, or transmit any personal information, contact lists, financial details, or device identifiers.
2. Local Storage & Calculations Privacy
All calculations—including gold weights, touche purity, output touche, palo additions, fine gold amounts, and jewellery casting expenses—are processed and retained exclusively on your device using local browser storage (IndexedDB / LocalStorage). Your calculations never leave your device.
3. Permissions & Device Access
This application does not request access to sensitive device permissions like your camera, microphone, contacts, location, or file storage. It requires only standard browser runtime access.
4. Third-Party Services
We do not integrate any third-party advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, or data-mining brokers. Typography assets are loaded via Google Fonts with privacy protection.
5. Data Ownership and Deletion
You own all your calculation and history records. You can delete individual records or clear your entire calculation history at any time from within the History screen.
6. Security
Because all data remains local to your device or browser session, your calculations are protected by your device's security and browser sandboxing.
